Karōshi
過労死 - overwork death
The first case of Karoshi was in 1969 when a 29 year old suddenly died of a stroke who worked in the shipping department of Japan's largest newspaper company. The word was created in 1978 due to an increase in sudden deaths caused by overwork. The number of suicides have increased from the pressures of work culture in Japan. To bring awareness to the situation, we've created this hoodie as a reminder to take a break from the pressures of work and to remind us that it's okay to be mentally drained.
